My Day in Photos & Answers

by Glenneth on July 8, 2012

Good morning and Happy Sunday! Let’s rewind to yesterday. Saturday I woke up super early (6:30AM) and decided just to get up and get dressed. I threw on some clothes, grabbed some breakfast, surfed the web, then headed to Target! I needed some regular household stuff AND bought a few things specifically for my upcoming trips. WOOHOO!!!

Guess what? School supply time! I love school and office supplies! And if you wait til they put everything on clearance, you can get some great deals!

Our Target has added a bunch of UT merchandise. GO VOLS! You cannot have too much orange in your wardrobe!

Around 10:30, my mom and I headed to my neighborhood pool. We had it all to ourselves for about 2 hours. WOOHOO!!! It was actually the first time this year I have used our pool. It was so relaxing to just float around the pool.

After lunch with mom and more goofing off, I headed to color my hair. My goal? Get the red out. It is so brassy in the sunshine. I wanted to go back to pure brown. I think I succeeded.

After a quick nap, I headed to Kroger for my weekly grocery shopping. Other things accomplished yesterday? Cleaning up my Pinterest boards. Cleaning up and reorganizing my Twitter follows into lists. Cleaning up the groups I belong to on Facebook. Afternoon snack? ORANGES. My new favorite snack/fruit.

What didn’t I do? Anything on my to-do list. LOL. Just was not motivated. In the evening, hubby and I headed to Stir Fry Cafe. I decided to have their fish tacos. So yummy.

I downloaded a fun, new camera app to my iPhone yesterday – MarbleCam. Check out some of the photos I took:

That’s pretty much my Saturday! What did you do yesterday?

Peanut Butter and Jenny

Let’s catch up on the blog challenge over at Peanut Butter and Jenny.

Question 6: If you could spend 15 minutes with any celebrity, who would it be and why?

George Clooney. Not only is he drop dead gorgeous, he is a good soul. I am sure he has some fabulous and moving stories to tell.

Question 7: If you could live in any time period of the past, when would it be and why?

I think I would have liked to have been a teenager during the 60s. The Beatles, Elvis, Woodstock. Love the clothes and the big hair.

Question 8: How do you envision your life being in 5 years?

Probably pretty much like it is now (since we don’t have kids and aren’t planning to have any). We would be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary!

On today’s agenda? My to-do list from yesterday! Must get started!

Enjoy your day!
